thankful

Yesterday was my birthday and I am so filled with joy that people remembered. I had contact with people I know, but also from strangers. That sure feels good and is also very kind. When you hear it is someone's birthday or anniversary, take a moment to send warm wishes. Seriously. It doesn't matter if you know them. It will still make them feel good. I am thankful!

Let it begin with me

Sometimes it may seem like I am telling everyone else to be kind, but I don't have to worry about a thing.  I need to work on this as much as the next person.  In many cases, I have to work more, and harder.  Because I'd love to see a kinder world, I must say, "Let it begin with me."  I'm going to do this.  It's important.

 I LOVE August!  It's my birth month.  My father and my maternal grandfather were also born in August.  Good month.  Be kind.  Be extra kind.
