Today is a day when in many churches, the departed are remembered. (Some combine observances and remember the departed with all the saints on November 1st). In your kindness, stop for a moment today and think of a favorite relative or good friend who has passed away. Perhaps a gettogether with a mutual friend to remember that deceased person might be helpful.
